Keene Police and Fire responds to 4 overdoses in 24-hours

KEENE — Keene Police and Fire responded to four overdoses in the past 24-hours, one which resulted in a death.

Police are not ruling out the possibility that the death and other reported overdoses are linked to the same batch of heroin being sold in Cheshire County.

Keene has seen seven total overdoses in October.

Police encourage anyone using heroin or any illicit drug to seek medical help and counseling.

An available resource to those fighting drug addition is the Cheshire County Addiction Assistance Recovery. Their 24/7 helpline can be reached at 1-844-604-7878.
