Keene, NH, police make two more arrests in connection with riots


KEENE - Police have made two more arrests in connections with a riot on Oct. 18 and 19.

Owen Gillis, 18, a Keene State College student who lives in Biddeford, Maine, is charged with one count of disorderly conduct. Police say Gillis threw a gas canister used by the police.

Gillis was released on a summons.

Mark Keller, 20, a Keene State College student who lives in Northborough, Mass., is charged with a felony count of reckless conduct. Police say Keller threw a beer can into a crowd.

Keller was released on $1,000 bail.

Gillis and Keller are scheduled to be arraigned Dec. 9 in Keene district court.

Keene police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information can call 603-357-9820 and ask to speak to Detectives Michael O'Donnell or Joel Chidester.
