Keene man indicted, accused of firing into the air, triggering school lockdowns
KEENE — A grand jury has indicted a man accused of firing a gun in a city parking lot, triggering a lockdown of city schools and Keene State College, the Union Leader reports.
Tyler J. Day, 22, of 19 Elliot St. in Keene, was indicted on four felony charges – receiving stolen property (a stolen handgun), felon in possession of a deadly weapon and two counts of reckless conduct.
Day is accused of firing a semi-automatic handgun into the air on April 1 and pointing the gun at his girlfriend’s head during an argument in a parking lot on Main Street.
Day remains in the Cheshire County jail in lieu of $250,000 cash bail.
