Keene man found guilty of kicking, killing dog

JAFFREY - A Keene man was found guilty Wednesday of animal cruelty for kicking and killing an elderly Pekingese Chihuahua last year.

Toby D. Tousley, 55, had claimed he kicked the dog because he was afraid he was about to be bit. Judge L. Phillips Runyan 3rd found Tousley guilty of animal cruelty.

Tousley was arrested last October after kicking the dog Teddy in a yard on Carroll Street. The dog died instantly. Tousley said he was working on one of his rental properties when the dog walked into the yard and relieved itself and police said that's when Tousley got angry.
