Keene Fire Department administers Narcan 7 times in March

KEENE - The Keene Fire Department responded to four suspected opioid overdoses and administered the Narcan seven times in March.

Narcan is an opiod-reversal drug.

The statistics were provided to the Keene Sentinel by the city's Fire Chief Mark F. Howard as part of an effort to inform the public.

In January and February the Keene Fire Department responded to 18 suspected opioid overdoses and administered Narcan 40 times.
