The Keene Police Department, along with the NH Attorney General's Drug Task Force, conducted an investigation in order to arrest those engaged in offering themselves, via the internet, for prostitution and for those paying for sexual services.

This case is connected to a prostitution bust on July 7. Police arrested a woman for placing an ad for prostitution on Backpage.com. A search of her phone showed that the subject she had contact with was using a phone that belonged to the Keene Fire Department, which was operated by Captain Robert Diluzio.

He was found guilty of prostitution and related offenses on Friday. He was sentenced to 360 days of jail time, all suspended for two years good behavior and completion of the inpatient sexual recovery treatment program.

He also must follow any recommendations from that program. Documentation of completion and recommendations must to provided to the State by Oct. 1.

Diluzio runs an ambulance company, as well as working at the Fire Department.
