Keene elementary student's Teeny Zucchini Triangular Panini wins him White House trip

KEENE — An 8-year-old from Keene will be dining with First Lady Michelle Obama in the White House on July 14.

Jude VanderHooven was selected as Mrs. Obama’s “Healthy Lunchtime Challenge” N.H. winner with his Teeny Zucchini Triangular Panini, according to the Keene Sentinel.

The fifth annual challenge invited children ages 8-12 nationwide to team up with a parent or guardian and “create an original recipe that is healthy, affordable, and delicious.”

One winner from each state was selected.
