K-9 helps police capture suspect in Franklin

FRANKLIN - A police dog helped subdue a suspect that was resisting arrest Friday afternoon.

Franklin police attempted to arrest Jason Lockrow, 34, of Elkins Street, on an electric bench warrant for resisting arrest and driving on a suspended license, The Citizen reported.

Police said Lockrow fled the scene. The Franklin Police Department's K-9, Max, was able to stop the suspect until police could handcuff him.

Lockrow waived bail. He will be arraigned in Franklin Circuit Court Monday.

Tilton Police had arrested Lockrow in June on a charge of receiving stolen property.
