Jury selection to start Monday in drunken driving trial of WMUR reporter Audrey Cox

BRENTWOOD - Jury selection is expected Monday in the trial of WMUR-TV reporter Audrey Cox who allegedly struck a woman with her car while driving under the influence.

The 53-year-old Lowell native faces two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated or operating under the influence of liquor with serious bodily injury and one count of reckless conduct in the accident that injured 79-year-old Sandra Dary at Hampton Beach last year.

Dary was reportedly walking her dog on Ocean Boulevard when she was struck by Cox's vehicle.

Cox’s attorney Andrew Cotrupi says evidence will show alcohol had no part in the accident and that his client is completely innocent.
