Judge indicts suspected NH drug dealer for selling fentanyl that killed man

DOVER — A Rochester man has been indicted for allegedly selling a fatal dose of fentanyl, which he could face life in prison for.

Ryan Kirk, 27, sold the drug to Adam Rainaud, who was found unresponsive inside at unit at Northgate Apartments in Rochester on June 24.

He was approached by an officer on Oct. 9 and was arrested following a foot pursuit, charged with dispensing a controlled drug with death resulting.

Kirk was indicted on Nov. 17 and arraigned Nov. 28. A dispositional conference is scheduled for Dec. 20.

If convicted, Kirk faces life in prison.
