Judge denies motion to consolidate hearing in Kibby case

A judge has denied the state's motion to consolidate a hearing in the kidnapping and sexual assault case against a Gorham man.

Judge Peter Bornstein ruled Thursday on the motion to move the dispositional conference in the Nathaniel Kibby case to one county. The hearing is when other dates in the trial are set.

The hearing in Coos County is scheduled for Feb. 19. The Carroll County hearing is scheduled for March 6.

Kibby is accused of kidnapping a North Conway teen in October 2013 and faces 205 charges. The girl returned home nine months later.
