BEDFORD — One of the victims in last week's car accident that involved two joggers has died.
Thomas Ducharme, 58, of Bedford, died on Saturday as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash. The other victim, Gregory Uliasz, 58, has been released from the hospital. The two men were out jogging on Pembroke Way when they were hit by a sedan at about 7 a.m.
The driver was a 16-year-old boy from Bedford. His name will not be released due to his age.
At this time, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, however, police are looking into whether frost on the windshield of the sedan may be a factor.
The crash remains under investigation by the Bedford Police Department’s Technical Accident Reconstruction team.
