Joe Joyce leaves NECN to Join NH1 News as chief meteorologist
CONCORD - Joe Joyce has joined NH1 News as chief meteorologist.
Joyce will deliver forecasts for NH1 News, the Granite State's independent multiplatform news network on WBIN-TV at 5, 6, and 10 p.m. in the Boston/Manchester viewing area. In addition, Joyce will forecast for NH1.com and the NH1 News Radio Network heard on Binnie Media Stations and affiliates across the Granite State.
"It's an honor to join this growing company that is looking to provide another choice to the resi-dents of New Hampshire for breaking news and weather," Joyce said.
Joyce joins NH1 News Network from New England Cable News. Joyce is a certified meteorologist with more than 18 years of experience forecasting New England weather. Before working at NECN, Joyce served as a meteorologist/environmental reporter for WBZ-TV in Boston and as meteorologist at WVII in Bangor, Maine.
The announcement was made by Executive Vice President of NH1 News Network Lee Kinberg.

A native of West Chester, Pa., Joyce is a 1995 graduate of Syracuse University where he received his bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. In 2001, Joyce graduate from Mississippi State University where he received his degree in meteorology.
