WOLFEBORO — Two jet skis crashed on Lake Winnipesaukee in Winter Harbor near the Libby Museum, sending one Mass. woman to the hospital with an injured leg around noon on Monday.
Emma Cotton, 23 of Needham, Mass. was driving a 2015 SeaDoo with Dan Surdyka, 23 of Amherst, Mass. as a passenger when their watercraft was struck by another 2015 SeaDoo operated by Jacob Cotton of Needham, Mass. who was carrying two passengers.
Jacob Cotton was attempting to pull alongside the other jet ski, and was traveling at about 15 miles per hour when he lost control of his craft and struck the other one, injuring Emma Cotton.
Emma Cotton was taken to Huggin's Hospital in Wolfeboro but all other parties refused medical treatment.
