Jacoby Brisset to make second career start when Pats host Buffalo Bills

Jacoby Brisset will make his second career start as quarterback when the New England Patriots play host to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, reports NFL.com.

The rookie will be backed up by Julian Edelman, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Jimmy Garoppolo is still battling a shoulder injury. Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported Sunday morning that Garoppolo needed a shot for practice last week, and was limited to about 100 passes a day.

Surgery is still a possibility for Brissett's sprained thumb in the future, according to Rapoport.

The Patriots will welcome Tom Brady back in Week 5.
