It's the last day to file for NH presidential primary

The Associated Press

CONCORD — It's the last day for presidential candidates to pay $1,000 and file paperwork if they hope to get on the New Hampshire primary ballot next year.

The three major Democratic candidates have already filed their paperwork and so have nearly all of the Republicans. Among the crowded GOP field, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson was scheduled to file Friday.

New Hampshire's primary is expected to be held in early February.
