CONCORD - It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in front of the State House in Concord.

The Christmas tree, which is from Penacook arrived at the statehouse this morning.

The tree lighting will take place on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Activities begin at 3:30 p.m. and include pony rides, horse drawn wagon rides and more.

Organizers will begin the lighting countdown at 5:59. Once the tree is lit, fireworks will follow.
