Have you taken a vacation this summer? How about this year?
Experts say if you don't give yourself a break, your body could start rebelling.
Many of us will call in sick if we get ill, but a survey says we don't take a break when we are stressed. And stress at work can make us physically ill.
Here are some ways your body is telling you to take a vacation, according to the American Psychological Association.
Stress can have real physical symptoms, problems like backaches, headaches, stomach aches and eye strain.
Or maybe you are overreacting to small problems? Are you making mistakes?
You may need a break. If your co-workers are concerned about you, they may have a reason. They may be noticing what you are ignoring.
And how are you sleeping?
Excess stress greatly interferes with quality of sleep, which causes a variety of health problems.
If you've been to the doctor and you aren't sick, you may just need a vacation.
