Intoxicated Barrington driver who killed pastor, wife found guilty of negligent homicide

BARRINGTON — A man who smoked marijuana and drank five to six alcoholic beverages at a golf club before crashing into a pastor and his wife in 2013 was found guilty of negligent homicide Thursday.
John Shaw, of Barrington, was driving on Route 202 when his pickup truck crossed the center line and hit Pastor Joel and Maxine McLain of Biddeford, Maine.
McLain and his wife were returning home from a religious retreat in Canterbury.
