Hurricane Matthew is having an affect on air travel, including flights in and around Manchester.

Manchester Boston Regional Airport is reporting they are experiencing some delays due to the large storm that is blowing up through the Caribbean. The Hurricane is expected to have significant impact on the Atlantic Ocean side of Florida and up the east coast.

Southwest Airlines, which links Florida to Manchester, has cancelled a mid-afternoon flight that included Orlando. Information provided by the airline reports that weather in several Florida cities through Saturday may be delayed, diverted or cancelled.

Additionally, the Federal Aviation Administration states that storms in the midwest could affect flights around Chicago and Minneapolis airports.
