Hudson police say razor blade found in trick-or-treater's candy

HUDSON – Hudson police said a child found a razor blade in a bag of Halloween candy Saturday night.

The trick-or-treater got the candy from the Elmwood Village and surrounding neighborhoods.

Police said an adult was checking the candy when the blade was found. The blade is described as a single edge blade, similar to those scraping windows.

The Hudson police are conducting an investigation and are urging parents to check Halloween candy and report any suspicious items.
