HUDSON — Police said no direct threats were made in regards to an announcement sent out by Alvirne High School late Wednesday evening.

While not much is known yet about the school's email, police issued Facebook post in response on Thursday morning.

"We know who the student is, and have been in contact with the student and family, who have been very cooperative," Hudson Police Department posted on their Facebook.

The statement also noted there were no hit lists involved in the incident.

Police have not yet offered further information as to what occurred but are at the school to speak with students and parents today.
