Hudson man killed in Brookline motorcycle accident


BROOKLINE - A Hudson man is dead following an accident where the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a pick-up truck at the intersection of Route 130 and Cross Road, police said.

Glenn Annis, 65, was driving his 1995 Harley-Davidson at about 3:40 p.m. when it collided with a pick-up truck driven by Steven Taylor, 18, of Leominster, Mass. Police said Taylor failed to yield the right of way while attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Cross Road and struck Annis' motorcycle. Taylor's pick-up then sideswiped another vehicle which was was stopped at the intersection.

Steven Thomas, 55, of Merrimack, was travelling behind Annis on his 2010 Harley-Davidson and forced to make an aggressive maneuver to lay down his motorcycle to avoid collision, police said. Thomas was taken to the hospital and treated and released for his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by State Police.
