Hudson firefighters save two cats, two dogs from early morning fire

HUDSON – Firefighters rescued two dogs and two cats during an early morning fire that left a Hudson home uninhabitable. Firefighters were called to the fire at 6 D Street around 12.52 a.m. and arrived to find flames coming from a second floor window of the two-story, single family home. All of the residents had evacuated the building before firefighters arrived, but the family pets were still inside. Hudson Fire Lieutenant Tim Kearns searched the building and found two cats in the area of the fire and removed them safely from the building.
