How stargazers can watch the Lyrid Meteor Shower
If you're into stargazing and meteor watching this is the week for you.
Many are gearing up to watch the annual Lyrid meteor shower that promises to be especially good to watch since it coincides with a crescent moon which will make the sky darker than usual.
Your best bet at catching the shower is after midnight on April 22 and into the early morning of April 23 according to Slooh, an online observatory.
Europe might see the Lyrids the best but according to the observatory most of the world shouldn't have an issue watching them.
Slooh will also have a live feed of the shower from Spain on this website.
For a preview for what you might see here is a video from the 2013 Lyrid meteor shower.
