How do airlines in Manchester compare when it comes to being on time?

NH1.com

MANCHESTER- Taking off for vacation or business, we have plenty of options in New England with multiple medium and large airports within a comfortable driving distance.

"It's all about price," said one traveler, but a recent survey suggests a direct flight is the number one priority for most people, with price a close second.

Regardless, no one likes sitting around in an airport waiting for a flight.

What’s most important to travelers when booking their flight?

According to a recent survey by Airs@t, finding a direct flight is the number one priority for travelers, followed closely by price, racking up frequent flier miles, and the convenience of the schedule.

We’ve all gotten stuck in airports with delays and cancellations, at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, how do the airlines stack up against one another?

From January 2014 to January 2015, when it came to being on time:

Southwest 72%
Delta 81.55%
US Airways 60%

How about air carrier delays?

Southwest 10.7%
Delta 6.59%
US Airways 7%

Cancellations?

Southwest 1.7%
Delta 0.4%
US Airways 20%

United also flies out of Manchester, their statistics were not available.

Manchester only has four airlines and finding direct flights can be difficult, certainly not as easy as Logan International Airport.

Travelers in Manchester tell NH1 News they would find cheaper flights into Boston, but prefer to fly in and out of Manchester due to size and convenience of the airport.
