Hot air balloon rider taken to hospital in NH after wind drags balloon across field

NORTHWOOD - A hot air balloon crashed in a Northwood field on Saturday afternoon.

Reports say the pilot had a "hard landing" and was grabbed and dragged across the field by a gust of wind before he could deflate the balloon. The incident happened near 321 Blakes Hill Road.

One occupant of the balloon was taken to Concord Hospital by Northwood EMS.
