Hooray! Fans, Patriots, Brady stoked for Thursday's opening kickoff vs. Steelers

FOXBORO – It’s a great day to be a New England Patriots fan!

It is game day in Foxboro and Tom Brady will be back on the field.

Last week’s court ruling returned Tom Brady to the Patriots and they are ready to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Thursday night’s kickoff is more than just a game but a celebration, not only of Tom Brady’s return but the team will also be unveiling their 4th championship banner in 14 years.

The home game marks a fresh start to a new season – one that the Patriots, and the fans plan on being a winning year.

Tom Brady getting ready for the game by posting a video montage ending with, “I had an equipment manager in college, he had been at Michigan for 25 years or so. He has so many Big 10 rings, he didn't have enough fingers for all the rings he's got. He said, 'You know what, Tom? You know what my favorite ring is?' I said, 'Which one is that?' The next one."

The honorary captain for tonight is John Moynihan, a well-respected Boston Police Officer.
