Hooksett Police arrest man allegedly driving over 80 mph while drunk


HOOKSETT - Police arrested a man on drunken driving charges Sunday morning after he was caught driving in excess of 80 miles per hour on Hooksett Road. Brian Dean, 28, no address provided, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after it was determined his blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit.

Police said Dean was pulled over on Interstate 91 just after the onramp of Exit 9. Police said he showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests. Once back at the police station, Dean took further tests which revealed his blood alcohol content to be .17. Dean was bailed on personal recognizance and released to a sober party.
