Hooksett man charged with DWI and transportation of drugs


HOOKSETT - Police pulled over a vehicle that failed to stop for a stop sign and ended up making a drug arrest early Saturday morning.

Police said Gregory Hood, 23, of Hooksett, failed to stop for a stop sign when he turned right from Dale Road onto Hooksett Road. Police said they smelled alcohol and put him through a sobriety test, where he performed poorly

Police arrested Hood, and say they found a small amount of marijuana in his possession. Hood was charged with driving while intoxicated and transportation of drugs.

He was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail.
