Hooksett man charged with DWI after 2-vehicle crash that resulted in no injuries


HOOKSETT — A two-vehicle crash on Hooksett Road and Londonderry Turnpike left nobody injured, but one man was arrested for driving while influenced on Friday night.

Mike Avery, 54, of Hooksett, refused to take a field sobriety test. He was arrested based on observations by police, and was taken to the Hooksett Police Department where he agreed to take a breath test. It was discovered that his blood alcohol content was .24, which is three times the legal limit.

He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail.

He has a court date scheduled for Nov. 8.
