Honduran man pleaded guilty to illegally entering the country
CONCORD — Alex Velasquez-Avila, of Honduras, pleaded guilty to illegally reentering the U.S. after being previously deported.
A deportation officer recognized him when he was leaving the Two Guys Food Market on Union Street in Manchester.
Velasquez-Avila was without any immigration documents and taken into deportation custody.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Alfred Rubega.
