Homeless man accused of stealing Red Bull from NH Shaw's could face 7 years in prison
NASHUA — A homeless man accused of stealing a Red Bull from a Shaw's Supermarket now faces seven years in prison.
Police said Jeremy Tappan, who has no fixed address, stole the Red Bull from the grocery store around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
During the investigation, police found that Tappan had several previous theft convictions. Because of the previous convictions, his charge was upgraded to a class B Felony.
A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment and fines.
Tappan was held on $2,500 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
