Hollis to conduct sobriety checkpoint sometime within week

HOLLIS – The Hollis Police Department has been granted the ability to conduct a sobriety checkpoint.

In an effort to cut down on driver operating vehicles under the influence, the NH Highway Safety Agency and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has provided funds to support sobriety checkpoints.

The Hollis Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in the town between Sept. 8 and Sept. 14.
