Hollis man arrested after drug deal goes bad

NASHUA - A Hollis man is under arrest after police say he threatened and stole money from a man who tried to buy marijuana from him.

Zachary Granger, 21, of 113 Silver Lake Road, allegedly drove to the other man's home on Wednesday, took his money but refused to provide the drugs, hitting him in the head with the gun and threatening him.

In a physical fight, the victim told police he was able to disarm Granger and run away. The victim said Granger later located him and threatened him a second time.

Police got a warrant and arrested Granger on Thursday. They also seized three guns as a result of their investigation.

Granger was charged with robbery and reckless conduct. He was released on $20,000 cash or surety bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 9 at the 9th Circuit Nashua Division District Court.
