Holiday candies recalled over possible peanut contamination

CONCORD – A Virginia company that makes holiday candy has voluntarily recalled its product over possible allergy contamination.

Virginia Diner has recalled 10 oz. cans of Happy Holiday Pecan Turtledoves chocolate caramel pecan clusters because they may contain peanuts.

The recall comes after a consumer opened the can and found peanut turtledoves mixed in, but there is no peanut allergy warning on the labels.

Only the following PRODUCT and LOT CODE is affected, found on the bottom of each can:

UPC Code: 0 85582 01155 2

Weight: 10 oz

Package Type: Can
