Historic covered-bridge in NH damaged for 3rd time this year

CORNISH (AP) — Police say a historic covered-bridge in New Hampshire has been damaged by a vehicle for the third time this year.

The Eagle Times reports that police say a motorist damaged the Dingleton Hill Covered Bridge in Cornish on Monday afternoon.

Witnesses described the vehicle as a full-size white pickup truck. Town Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.

The bridge had been damaged by a bus in February and then again in June. It's listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
