CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will raise campaign money for New Hampshire state Senator Lou D'Allesandro.

Clinton will attend a fundraiser on Sept. 30 hosted by former Massachusetts state Sen. Steve Baddour at his law firm in Washington, D.C., to benefit D'Allesandro.

D'Allesandro represents Goffstown and parts of Manchester and is seeking his ninth term in the state Senate. He confirmed Clinton's attendance at the fundraiser in a statement.

He says: "We have been close friends for a long time and I am honored that she would take time to drop by."

Clinton, who won the 2008 New Hampshire primary, is considered the front-runner for the Democratic nomination in 2016, although she has not said if she is running. She has not traveled to New Hampshire this election cycle.
