Hillary Clinton in NH to stump for Shaheen/Hassan
MANCHESTER - Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made several stops in the Granite State Sunday campaigning for Senator Shaheen and Governor Hassan.
After a rally in Nashua, Clinton greeted supporters at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant in Manchester before heading to Dover's The Farm Bar and Grille. She urged Granite Staters to get out and vote Tuesday.
Clinton says she wants voters, "to really see what's at stake in these elections because there are very big differences and if people will just take a minute to compare and contrast what the candidates are saying you can see clearly, here in New Hampshire, that we've got proven leadership with Jeanne Shaheen and the Governor, Maggie Hassan and the members of Congress, and they've actually been getting results as opposed to the kind of, you know, ideological, rhetorical positions that their opponents take."
Clinton hasn't been in New Hampshire since 2008 but says, "I love new Hampshire! Really, as I've said like I've said I've been coming here since 1991. It's a place I've really enjoyed being."
