Heroin overdose leads to child endangerment charges for Manchester couple

MANCHESTER - Another man's heroin overdose led to child endangerment charges for a couple after children were found in the home where police say the drugs were consumed.

Police responded to a Manchester home early Sunday for a disturbance call where they made contact with Brandon Kenney, 30, and Misty Chase, 28. Chase was holding their 7-year-old daughter, police said.

In another room, police found an unconscious man who had overdosed on heroin. A 15-month-old infant was asleep in another room.

The man was revived with NARCAN once AMR emergency officials arrived. Police said they also noticed fresh "track marks" on Kenney's arm.

Chase and Kenney were arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Chase was also charged with violation of bail conditions from a March theft charge. Both were scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

The children were placed with their grandparents.
