Heroin overdose lead to an arrest in Lebanon Friday night

LEBANON — Police responded to a drug overdose on Friday night at a home on Barrows Street.

The victim was a 35-year-old man and he was given Narcon. He is expected to recover.

An investigation lead to the arrest of Douglas Larocque, 45, of Lebanon.

It was determined that Larocque was the supplier of heroin to the victim.

He was charged with possession of the narcotic drug heroin with the intent to distribute and held on $5,000 cash bail. He will be arraigned Monday morning.

The investigation is ongoing and the heroin that was recovered was stamped "anonymous" and appears to have a high potency level, according to Lebanon Police.
