The storm has caused high surf, resulting in large waves with some reaching up to eight feet, according to Hampton Beach safety officials. The surf is going to continue to build as the storm goes on.

Lifeguards will be patrolling the beach to make sure everyone stays out of the water.

On Monday people are only allowed to be in the water up to their knees due to the conditions.
