Henniker Police Department officially accepts new gun donations from Sturm Ruger

HENNIKER - The police department has officially accepted a newly donated supply of guns.

The Connecticut based company, Sturm Ruger, has donated a supply of guns to the Henniker police department, the Concord Monitor reported.

The department accepted their new supply of guns at Tuesday's meeting.

The same company donated firearms to the Warner Police Department last month.

Sturm Ruger donated 16 American 9 mm pistols, 16 LC9 compact off-duty pistols and four SR556 patrol rifles. Strum Ruger also included holsters for the sidearms.

The department's old guns will be sold through a firearm retailer.
