Henner to decide whether to take plea deal in Unfonak murder case
DOVER- A Farmington woman connected by authorities to the death of James Unfonak will decide if she should accept a plea deal handed to her today.
Laurie Henner, 41, of White Birch Lane in Farmington facing charges related to Unfonak's February death outside of Gary's Sports Bar at 38 Milton Road in Rochester.
Published news reports at the time say Unfonak, 44, was involved in an altercation inside the bar with a person or group of people. He was attacked outside.
Foster's Daily Democrat reports that Henner is not being charged directly in his death, but for assembling with Eric Langlais, 41, who was indicted in April for his role in Unfonak's death.
Langlais, charged with manslaughter and rioting, faces 37 years in prison.
Henner is up for a jury trial in November. She is charged with rioting and faces seven years in prison.
