Heavy police presence at the Manchester VA for possible gun threat

MANCHESTER — Several armed police officers responded to the Manchester VA Medical Center on Thursday morning for a report of a possible person with a gun.
Police arrived at the VA just after 9 a.m. and the situation appeared to be under control by 9:30 a.m. A representative for the Manchester VA is expected to speak soon on the incident.
No one appears to be injured from the incident and it's unclear at this time if any arrests will be made. Police cleared the scene just before 10 a.m.
The Manchester VA has recently been under scrutiny for poor patient conditions.
Shortly after those accusations surfaced, the hospital also had a pipe burst at the facility causing more problems.
