A Clean Home Is A Happy Home This Study Says
Clean your way to happiness this spring!
Clorox recently conducted a study that suggested that keeping a neat living space promotes empathy. Clorox's survey of 2,000 adults revealed that people who enjoyed cleaning were 25 percent happier than those that did not. The study also finds that those who kept a clean home were happier, and believe it or not, more relaxed and focused than those who are messy.
What about those who can't stop cleaning or clean more frequently? People who frequently cleaned their houses increased their happiness by 53 percent. And parents, this also could help with your child's behavior as the study suggested that 60 percent of parents indicated their kids studied better and about half noted their child's behavior improved with cleanliness.
Regular cleaning also helped improve relaxation, heightened focus, better sleep as well as increased productivity. So this spring, pass the Clorox ... and relax!
