Headed back to school? Check out these sales at a NH store near you

When it comes to back-to-school shopping, parents everywhere sigh at the toll it takes on their wallet.

Luckily, stores around the nation understand the trouble and are making it a little easier with sales that you might even question.

Here are the deals around you Granite Staters - at least some that stood out.

To start off, there seems to be a all around winner for sales when it comes to back to school shopping.

Staples with their "lowest prices period," seems to take the cake. With deals up to 80 percent off, they sure have made it hard to beat. To top it off, they guarantee a 110 percent match up. If you find an item for a lower price you can bring in proof and they will match it, as well as discount it by 10 percent more. Does it get any better than that?

They also are giving customers the option to buy online and pick up within the hour.

Walmart has certainly has come to compete. With backpacks starting at $7, Walmart has deals Staples doesn't play a part in. Walmart has created a "school uniform" section on their website. They are offering up to 70 percent off of "trendy school supplies."

Kohl's entered the game with a whooping 70 percent off in their "biggest gold star clearance event." Not to mention a possible 80 percent off further markdowns.

Amazon has several online deals including; Save up to 70% off with Amazon textbook trade-in, buy 3, get 1 free on school & classroom supplies, save on college essentials, save 20% off $100+ on select shoes & more.

Sears is offering up to 55 percent off back-to-school fashions for juniors and young men. Not quite as cheap as Walmart, but they have backpacks starting at $18.99. Also, Dockers is offering up to 60 percent off "Dockers uniforms for kids."

Target has entered the discount race by offering a buy one get one 50 percent off all school supplies sale. As for teachers, the sales don't seem too hot. Meaning there are none, or at least very few to report.

Payless is running the shoe sale with 40 percent off all back-to-school purchases. From running shoes to sandals, they have shoes as low as $12.

Barnes & Noble is offering the NOOK Simple Touch for $79 & free shipping. Also, you can save 20% off any teen book.
