Head-on snowmobile crash in Kingston

KINGSTON - Two men escaped serious injury after being involved in a snowmobile crash in Kingston Saturday evening.

New Hampshire Fish and Game said Daniel Klemarczyk, 27, of Nottingham and Jeremy Daigneault, 21, of Fremont were riding together on separate snowmobiles in a field off Marshall Road when they collided head-on.

The accident was reported to authorities at 6:55 p.m. Saturday. Kingston Police with emergency personnel from Kingston Fire and Rescue responded to the scene. Both operators refused medical treatment at the scene, although the two snowmobiles sustained heavy damage.

Conservation Officer Chris McKee of the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department also responded to the scene and is investigating the crash. At this time, it appears unreasonable speed was a contributing factor. Both men were also riding in an area without permission of the property owner.

N.H. Fish and Game reminding all snowmobilers to stay on approved trails, obey posted speed limits and to always operate in a manner appropriate for the conditions.

No further information is available at this time.
