Head-on crash in Barrington leaves Rochester man with serious injuries

BARRINGTON - A Rochester man was seriously injured Friday night when the driver of a minivan crossed the center line and hit his truck head-on on Washington Street.

State police say Scott Infinger, 48, was heading east on Washington Street near Donigians Way when a Chrysler minivan coming from the opposite direction and driven by Paul Belliveau, 39, of Northwood, crossed into his lane just before 9 p.m.

Infinger suffered life-threatening injuries as a result, according to police. Belliveau also was injured but not as seriously.

Police say preliminary investigation suggests drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash, but the crash remains under investigation.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Trooper Thomas Conlon at 223-8614.
