Hawks Coach: Carroll's status vs. Cavs a game-time decision

The Associated Press

ATLANTA (AP) Atlanta Hawks forward DeMarre Carroll took part in shootaround Friday morning but is still questionable for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Coach Mike Budenholzer said Carroll's status would be a game-time decision.

The practice was closed to the media, but Carroll's knee was heavily wrapped and he walked with a slight limp on his way back to the locker room.

Carroll was injured with about 5 minutes left in Cleveland's Game 1 victory. He went down on a drive to the basket and looked seriously injured when helped off the court.

An MRI showed no structural damage. Carroll was diagnosed with a sprain and bone bruise, making it possible for him to return in the series.

If Carroll can't go, Kent Bazemore is expected to start.
